Why you should try before you buy

You’ve probably tried a sample of ice cream before committing to a cone, or made sure to taste a beer before committing to the whole $5 pint. Why would you choose an enterprise software solution – a decision on which millions of dollars and your livelihood ride – without taking it for a spin first?

Most of us who are in a position to work on the vendor selection process have heard of the term “proof of concept.” A proof of concept is a pilot project that demonstrates whether a design concept, business proposal or technology solution is, in fact, feasible.

A proof of concept usually comes after a grueling RFI and RFP process. They’re usually short and sweet scenarios that the carrier has come up to test the mettle of the vendor and the software itself. The hope is that the PoC can show the carrier how a vendor would solve a real-world problem, thus showing how its people, processes and technology stand up.

Most PoCs are barely more than thought exercises. At Adaptik, we’ve taken things a bit further with the Adaptik Challenge. The Challenge allows carriers to tackle their most difficult and trying policy administration issues and see firsthand how those requirements are clarified leveraging Adaptik’s approach and Adaptik Suite’s rapid configuration capabilities. In other words, we don’t just tell you how we’d solve a problem. We actually build the solution and put it in your team’s hands. We have nowhere to hide, and no way to obfuscate … and that’s the point.

The Adaptik Challenge was created to provide a low-risk way for carriers to experience how the Adaptik Suite can enable them to stay ahead of the demands on their policy administration solutions and transform their business to meet the needs of their customers. With the Adaptik Challenge, carriers can not only leverage our rapid and accurate prototyping capabilities to solve their biggest issues, but they can quickly gather precise requirements and get early feedback from end-users.

Potential customers work with Adaptik to configure a policy administration system that is highly interactive and demonstrates how the actual product and system will operate within only a few weeks.

Does this sound too good to be true? It’s not … and that’s why you should contact us to find out how we can transform your business.
