Sales Executive

Adaptik Sales Executives own achieving sales goals and execution of our sales strategy.

Our sales professionals drive the sales process and outcomes, growing a profitable pipeline through deal origination, lead generation and nurturing relationships with prospects.

Sales acumen, self-direction, engagement and accountability are key functions of this role. The Sales Executives employ a consultative, solution-based selling approach and are focused on finding ways to provide prospects with value.

Reports to: Vice President of Product Management

Location: Negotiable

Travel Profile: Extensive

Primary Responsibilities

  • Identify target carriers and Prospect for customers
  • Outbound calling activity to generate awareness of Adaptik solutions with the primary goal of producing qualified leads
  • Leverage existing relationships with customers
  • Follow up and follow through on inquiries and leads generated by various marketing activities
  • Collaborate with prospects to understand key business needs/issues, required capabilities & buying process
  • Independently execute sales calls and prospect meetings
  • Maintain real-time account, contact, sales activity, forecasts, etc. data
  • Implement a customer sales lifecycle process
  • Collaborate with Product Management
  • New product features identified through customer interaction
  • Participate in RFP/RFI process with customers
  • Design sales messaging deployment strategy
  • Assist in customer event planning
  • Help create content for sales & marketing collateral
  • Assist with Conference planning
  • Vendor alliances
  • Negotiate Customer Software and Services Contracts

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in inside sales, account management, business development or tele-sales role
  • Proven track record of meeting targets
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer skills – highly proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Excellent phone etiquette
  • Excellent organization and presentation skills
  • High-energy and self-starter
  • Creative thinking, decision-making and problem resolution skills
  • Excellent negotiation, influence, mediation and conflict management skills
  • Flexibility and ability to multi-task in an environment with shifting priorities
  • Strong knowledge of Technology Sales

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, ideally in technology, engineering, marketing or business related field
  • Management consulting experience with multi-year customer technology implementation projects
  • Strong knowledge of the P & C Insurance business
