At the 2010 ACORD LOMA Insurance Systems Forum, Adaptik put PolicyWriter to the test by responding to real-time, on-the-fly policy administration challenges from conference attendees.
No one was able to stump us.
Example Challenges
- Introduce a new question to the Vehicle Page for our Personal Auto product called “Tow Hitch?”. (Right now the question is only available for Private Passenger vehicles and trucks. For private passenger vehicles, the answer options of “Yes / No” are displayed via a radio buttons, but for Trucks, a drop-down list is used for options None, Class I, Class II or Class III.)
- Introduce Electronic Equipment coverage for Personal Auto with limit options of $1,500 and $2,500 and deductible options of $50 or $100.
- Modify the end user navigation by changing the order of the existing pages and making one page available only when the state is PA.
- Introduce Watercraft as a covered item in our Homeowners product. (Watercraft is now configured into the data model and a new web page, Watercraft Details, was defined to capture data for each itemized watercraft.)
