Dr. Tamer Uluakar co-founded Adaptik in 2000. Dr. Uluakar originated and evolved the underlying principles and design of PolicyWriter, Adaptik’s adaptive, rules-driven policy administration software solution that brings unprecedented flexibility and efficiency.

He has more than 23 years of experience in policy administration and has collaborated with carriers in North America as well as one of the largest insurers in the Asian market. Prior to founding Adaptik, Dr. Uluakar served as Vice President for Insurance Architecture with MTW Corporation, Advanced Practices Consultant with Texas Instruments, Systems Analyst at McKinsey and Principal Consultant with Yourdon Inc. He holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from Virginia Tech.
